I’ve seen a production of it before (I’m assuming it’s the same show).

It is really creepy, but I really enjoyed it. It’s incredibly fascinating. I find it’s more of an intellectual kind of creepy, not a “BOOGIE BOOGIE BOOGIE THERE’S A GHOST AND IT’S POPPING UP IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE.” Not like horror.

But I suppose it depends how it’s done…but I thought it was good.

i’m going to the play of it so i guess it’s gonna be the same? if not it won’t be too different.

Yeah, I mean. It causes goosebumps…and frankly I can’t remember if I had a hard time sleeping that night. But I felt like the story was really, really good and interesting. Sad, too, but I felt like it outweighed the scariness. Definitely your mileage may vary. I don’t know what’s too creepy for you or how scary things effect you personally…I’d say it’s about as creepy as The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances.

Packing my laptop so I can work on my writing assignment between ‘Lit and World Theatre and Drama.

Fun fact: The Twin Menaechmi is an irritating Roman play. I swear, the whole time I just wanted to smack both of the guys named Menaechmus and say, “YOU HAVE A TWIN. YOU EVEN KNOW THAT YOU HAVE A TWIN, EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVEN’T SEEN HIM FOR MANY YEARS. NO ONE IN THE TOWN IS MAD. THEY ARE SEEING YOUR TWIN DO THE STUFF YOU DON’T RECALL DOING. GOD YOU TWO ARE STUPID.”

Just checked my phone, and had a late night (4:30 am) ass-dial call from my dad. I heard heavy breathing, and thought I may have heard a woman’s voice.

Uhhh…so I’m going to call to see what the fuck that was about.

Also I need to call Rose-Ann and Emily and let them know I’m going to be back in town next week.  I hope they’ve been doing better than I have…it looks like things have been going up for Emily. But Rose-Ann…I have no idea.

I’m very apathetic about the riots going on. Perhaps if I were personally affected by them, I would care more, but that’s not the case. 

I’m almost more worried about the architecture and landmarks going to ruin.

This really answers your question, oh, a week and a half ago about whether it could possibly be true that you have an extremely low level of empathy.
